Red Dirt Communications provided Final Four coverage for ESPN's SportsCenter from the DirecTV Mobile studio Live from Atlantic Station in Atlanta, Georgia. ESPN set up a huge broadcast compound at Atlantic Station to anchor their coverage with a full stage set and demonstration basketball court for their College Gameday Show while the Red Dirt operated Mobile Studio was providing liveshots to ABC's GMA and ESPN shows including SportsCenter, First Take, Outside The Lines, Numbers Don't Lie and ESPNU's Katz Korner. On Sunday, after the College Gameday crew's long Saturday coverage of the NCAA Semifinals, the Mobile Studio produced multicamera segments from the Gameday set to be used in SportsCenter while giving a much need break to the production truck and crew.

For the next week and a half, the Mobile Studio produced College Football Live from the road, along with live hits for SportsCenter and other ESPN programs. College Football Live originated from Alabama, LSU, TAMU, Louisville, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame. Each day, the crew set up 2 cameras and a "Flex Desk" set, and 2 cameras for a sit down interview with the coach. The College Football Live show featured hosts Chris Fowler, Reese Davis and Joe Tessitore along with football analysts Kirk Herbstreit, Chris Spielman and Jesse Palmer.

Also in April, HRTV again used Red Dirt Communications to provide the production facility and engineering support to produce their coverage of the Arkansas Derby from Hot Springs, AR. The last few years Red Dirt has worked hand in hand with HRTV to produce two days of coverage. The three camera show is anchored on a stage from trackside with a roving camera in the Winner's Circle.
